The Cast

This show wouldn't be possible without the hard work of a talented and dedicated cast. Working with these actors is one of the most rewarding experiences a director could ask for. Except for Jason.

Note: Most of the photos are from the '08 show.

Jan Boutilier - If you or your child spent a lot of time in the office in high school, you probably know Jan. She has been an important part of Dinner and a Murder since its inception, and has been in the show every year. She is also a regular in shows put on by the O'Meara Dance Studio. Jan claims that she used to be shy, but I don't believe her.
David Crozier - Any thought that David might only be on stage because his wife is forcing him to do it will vanish as soon as he begins to speak. David has been with us from the beginning, and even tackled the role of the detective in the '08 show. He works regularly with the O'Meara Dance Studio. If it wasn't for David, I still wouldn't know what a shillelagh is.
Mary Crozier - Mary has been crucial to the show from the very beginning. I've never seen anyone pull a costume together as quickly and thoroughly as she does. Mary is a regular with the O'Meara Dance Studio, where she gets 4 or 5 costumes instead of just the one a year we ask for.
Ramon Dailey - I keep threatening to stay off of the stage and leave the acting to the actors, but I apparently need the attention. So much show, that I'm making this year's show my wedding. You can learn more at www.ramonandtiela.com.
Jim Guthrie - Jim jumped in almost at the last minute to play a small role in the '08 show, then played our prestigious doctor in the Star Trek show. Jim teaches shop to high school students, and he's using his expertise to build us another amazing set for this year's show.
Jason Hollingsworth - Jason is a survivor of many of my projects. Not only has he starred in every Dinner and a Murder event, he's been in several short videos, which you can see at www.tirelessfilms.com. Not only that, but he dances and sings in O'Meara Dance Studio.
Tiela Short - Tiela gets her roles in the show the old fashioned way - she's dating the director. She was in the audience for the first show in '06, and if you had told her she'd be on stage the next year, she'd have laughed at you. In the real world, Tiela saves lives instead of taking them by working as a veterinarian technician. She's probably given your cat an injection. Believe it or not, having the show be our wedding was HER idea.
Margaret Sork - When Margaret and her boyfriend, Garth, moved into the house down the street from me, little did they know what they were getting themselves into. Margaret is a talented opera singer. Recently, she and Garth have somehow convinced both Tiela and I to get into mountain biking. So, if I'm in a neck brace for my wedding, it'll be Margaret's fault. This will be Margaret's third year in our show.
Peggy Tonan - If there's anyone on our stage who loves an audience more than I do, it's Peggy. They love her in return. She joined us the second year and, never one to waste time, Peggy was guilty of murder that year. Who knows? Maybe she'll strike again...
